Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid subscriptions to the Coff platform provided by Coff LLC ("Coff", "we", "us", or "our"). It is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.
In short: you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, but we handle billing errors and honor the refund rights the law gives you.
1. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing team@coff.app. When you cancel:
- Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — you keep access for the time you have already paid for.
- Your subscription will not renew for the next period, and you will not be charged again.
- We do not automatically pro-rate or refund the unused part of the current period, except where required by law or stated below.
Cancelling stops future charges; it is not the same as deleting your account or data. To have your data deleted, see the Privacy Policy.
2. Monthly plans
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for each one-month period. Because the term is short, monthly fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. When you cancel a monthly plan, it remains active until the end of the current month and then stops.
3. Annual plans
Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for a full year and are generally non-refundable once the term begins. As a courtesy, if you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of the initial purchase (or the most recent annual renewal) and you have not made substantial use of the Services during that time, you may request a full refund of that annual charge by emailing team@coff.app. After the 14-day window, annual fees are non-refundable, and cancellation stops the plan from renewing at the end of the paid term.
4. Free trials
If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it may convert into a paid subscription and be billed at the price shown when you signed up. To avoid a charge, cancel before the trial period ends. Once a trial converts and a paid period begins, the refund rules for that plan (above) apply.
5. Billing errors and duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, a charge after a timely cancellation, or an incorrect amount — contact us at team@coff.app within 60 days of the charge. If we confirm the error, we will refund the incorrect amount. We may verify the charge with our payment processor, Whop, before issuing a refund.
6. Discretionary refunds
Beyond the cases above, refunds are granted at Coff’s discretion. We consider requests fairly and in good faith — for example, where a significant, prolonged service failure prevented you from using the Services and we were unable to resolve it. Approval of one request does not obligate us to approve future requests.
7. What is not refundable
- Fees for a billing period that has already elapsed or is in progress, except as stated in this policy or required by law.
- Charges for usage-based, add-on, or metered features that have already been consumed.
- Amounts owed for a plan you continued to use after cancelling would have taken effect.
- Third-party charges you incur outside Coff (for example, fees charged directly by a connected service).
8. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Whop. Once we issue a refund, it typically appears within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are made in the original currency of the charge; we are not responsible for exchange-rate differences or fees charged by your bank.
9. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Where the law grants you a right to a refund or a cooling-off period, we honor it, and those rights take precedence over the general rules above.
10. How to request a refund
Email us
Send your request to team@coff.app with the email address on your account, the approximate date and amount of the charge, and a brief reason. Put "Refund" in the subject line so we can route it quickly.
What to expect
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within a few business days and to resolve them promptly. You can also reach us at +1 (425) 465-1290 if you prefer to speak with someone.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to charges made after the updated policy takes effect, and we will revise the "Last updated" date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
